“We Are Chosen”

 

Focus Verse I Peter 2:9

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of

darkness into His marvelous light”

 

We are chosen, set apart, and loved beyond measure. The world may attempt to define us by your past mistakes, failures, or shortcomings, but God declares that our identity is found in Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We were handpicked by the Creator for a divine purpose. When God called us out of darkness, He did not just deliver us from our past He also crowned us with His purpose and covered us in His grace. We are part of a royal priesthood, a living testimony of God’s redeeming power and marvelous light.

 

Take a moment to reflect on your journey and say with joy, “Look where God brought me from!” He brought me out of darkness into the marvelous light; Oh, look where He brought me from.” Those powerful lyrics echo the truth of God’s transforming love. 

 

Every trial we have endured, every tear we have cried, and every battle we have faced has been proof that God’s hand is upon our life. We have not come this far by our own strength, but by God’s unconditional love, grace, and mercy guiding us every step of the way.

 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing us and calling us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Help us to always remember how far You have brought us and to walk with Your purpose and light You have placed within me. Please strengthen our faith, renew our spirit, and let our life continually reflect Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
