“The God of All Seasons”

Focus Verse Job 37: 5-6

God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’

As the seasons change, we are reminded that God is always at work—both in the world around us and within our hearts. Even when we do not see the full picture, God’s Hands are busy shaping, preparing, and renewing us for what’s ahead.

In the cold seasons of life, when everything feels still or uncertain, God is not absent—He is strengthening the roots of our faith. And in the seasons of rain, when life feels overwhelming or heavy, God is watering the seeds He planted long ago.

Each season has a divine purpose. Whether it brings rest, growth, pruning, or harvest, God uses every moment to draw us closer to Him and to reveal His greatness in ways we “cannot comprehend.” As we move from one season to the next, let us do so with expectation and trust in God. For if God commands the snow and controls the rain, surely He can guide us through every change, every challenge, and every transition. So stand firm in your Hope in Jesus and know that the same God who orders the seasons is also ordering your steps. God is doing great things in His perfect timing.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being the Lord of every season. As the world around us changes, remind us that You remain constant and in control. Help us to trust Your timing and Your purpose, even when we do not fully understand Your plans. Strengthen us in the quiet seasons and renew us in the stormy ones. Please lead us, guide us, and ground us in Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
