Our Mission
Mission of Peace believes that the church is the heart and soul of the community. The church is not confined within four walls and a roof. Church is a continuous ministry to go out beyond the walls of the church and to reach those in need. To partner with similar causes and organizations to better our community and the lives of others. To help the less fortunate, to lend a helping hand, to share our God given talents and abilities to impact and change a person's life through Christ.

“You Were Made For This”
Psalm 148 NIV
Pastor Zetter Slappy
Praise the Lord…You were made for this. He has given you an assignment, a decree, a purpose of existence, and a purpose of living. Praise the Lord giving Him the honor, service, reverence, and worship. Scripture tells you that you have a life of servitude for Christ Jesus. You will and can never run out of things to thank God for…and never stop appreciating Jesus for what He has seen and brought you through. There is nothing that stands against Jesus or God. Life is a blessing. God is your protector, provider, healer, doctor, peace, joy in sorrow, comforts in the time of loss, patient, and He loves unconditionally. No matter how many times you’ve tried to do things on your own God has been patient with you to allow Jesus to work and direct you on your path to change and renew you because you we’re made for this. Worship, praise and serve your heavenly Father. If you feel this is too much or you wish not to make the sacrifices for Him then you’re saying you do not want to go to heaven. Honor, worship, praise and magnify God. Heaven should be on your agenda daily. Be in the midst of spoken word, forgiveness, do not trump or detour away from God. Nothing is more essential or important than God. “No matter what, you were made for this, praise the Lord.”
You were to get through this (difficulties, situations, concerns, obstacles…). Praise Him in your storms, loneliness, hardships, sick bed, when you’re jobless, in the temple, in your home – at all times. You will have the opportunity to praise Him in heaven. Serve Him to the upmost.
